Fuel: Why Food Matters

EVERYTHING YOU DO IS THE RESULT OF HOW YOU’VE FUELED YOUR BODY

 

Food is the SOURCE of everything we are.

 

It’s at the stem of the majority of illnesses, now and in the future. The quality of our energy. The mood that you are in – your outlook and enthusiasm.

 

As an athlete, I ate well. I thought. But the reality is that I could have fueled myself much better. I now understand how proper nutrition helps fuel you, not only for athletic success but for a healthier, happier life.

 

Once retired, things changed… and in my quest to change, I searched for answers. What’s the ideal food? How can I fuel my body in the cleanest way? How can I feel my best?

 

THE SIMPLE SECRET. THE MAGIC OF FRUITS & VEGETABLES

 

Across the board, the answer lies in nature: straight up fruits & vegetables. Their nutrients contain the variety of vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients that keep us healthy and thriving! So I set about to get more. Across the board, with all the different eating styles (not diets) that can often contradict each other, eating more greens are not discouraged by any of them!!

 

When I began to incorporate this into my life, everything changed. Obviously, the expected happened: I lost a little weight and toned up. But I was surprised at just how deep the changes went. My energy was through the roof. My enthusiasm was a complete 180 – no longer feeling tired and sluggish. And my mood – I noticed a DRASTIC change in my outlook and attitude.

 

MY GOAL IS THIS: HELP PEOPLE UNDERSTAND THE POWER OF GOOD NUTRITION, AND MAKE IT PART OF THEIR LIVES.
